Education & Community
Since 1988, the Boch Center has been committed to inspiring and igniting greater appreciation for art, culture, and creativity through its education and community outreach initiatives. These initiatives strive to make the arts more accessible for children, teens, families, and the greater community, and to highlight the tremendous impact of arts, culture, and creativity in our everyday lives.
Over the past 30 years, the Boch Center’s free education and community outreach programs have reached nearly 400,000 children, teens, families, and educators, along with hundreds of neighborhood organizations. The Center also works to make programming at the Wang and Shubert Theatres accessible to everyone and to expand its impact outside of these venues.
We believe it is a right, not a privilege, for every young person to have a creative life, to experience art, to express themselves creatively regardless of skill level and/or socioeconomic status, and to develop their own creative capital.
