Boston, MA (February 12, 2019) – The Boch Center and AEG announced today that RuPaul’s Drag Race champion Bianca Del Rio will bring her brand new comedy show “It’s Jester Joke” to the Boch Center Shubert Theatre on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 8:00PM. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 15 at 12:00PM.
Bianca Del Rio, the self-proclaimed “clown in a gown,” tells tales of her worldwide adventures and the outrageous circus that is her life in her comical “tell it like it is” voice, covering life from politics to travel, family and social media.
Bianca Del Rio is the season six winner of the hit TV series RuPaul’s Drag Race. The beloved entertainer once known as Roy Haylock emerged on the New Orleans nightclub circuit and has since become a drag superstar earning awards including NewNowNext’s Best New Television Personality, performing sold-out shows around the world, gaining critical acclaim from The New York Times, penning a book, Blame it on Bianca Del Rio, and amassing over 1.7M followers on Instagram.’
